Ces was a mystic who was in love with life and the living spiritual reality that enlivens. Ces was an inspired painter who captured the essence of things in her art. She had a great passion for philosophy. Stephen was born in New Zealand and studied astrology one on one every week from mid 1989 - mid 1990 with an international astrologer, Stephen Hill. Stephen Hill was greatly respected by many for his insights, humour and friendship. I was the only one of Stephen Hill's former students to receive formal recognition as a peer. In Stephen's home country, New Zealand, Stephen was part of a large group of people who constantly spoke astrology - that is used the language of astrology in their everyday conversation. This group of people included students and practitioners of astrology who would meet informally at people's houses. The late Steve Hill's house was one very popular gathering place for such meetings. People would often make references to, or discourse about, astrological phenomena currently happening in their lives and what such phenomena meant to them. From 2002 onwards Stephen has been living and working in other countries beside New Zealand, especially Thailand and South Korea. Stephen brings a multicultural understanding to his consultancy work. Stephen's wife, Namthip, is from Thailand. Namthip incorporates the wisdom and philosophy of South East Asia into her everyday life. Stephen has a university degree in Philosophy and has been a student and practitioner of practical spirituality throughout his life. Stephen was a co-founder of the Astrological Network of Aotearoa 1993 - 1997. This was an astrological network designed to facilitate the communication and exchange of information between astrologers, students and the astrologically curious. The networks members were primarily from New Zealand/Aotearoa, but it also had members from other countries as well. As well as working as an astrologer, Stephen has also worked in the caregiving and teaching professions.
